Our story
How Ironforge Gym got here
Coach Marcus Webb opened Ironforge in 2014 after fifteen years coaching college and Olympic-bound lifters. He wrote three rules on a chalkboard the first morning — no mirrors, no music, no ego — and they're still there. What set Ironforge Gym apart from the start was a refusal to treat the basics as afterthoughts — doing the careful, unglamorous work that earns trust, and treating every client the way the founders wished they had been treated. 11 years and more than 280 clients later, that conviction still runs Ironforge Gym. The team has grown, the work across Chicago has too, but the promise is unchanged.
