Our story
How Harbor Barbershop got here
Harbor opened in 2010 in a former tailor's shop on Mission Street, keeping the brass mirrors and wooden floor. Six founding barbers, six chairs, and a neighborhood that's been there since. What set Harbor Barbershop apart from the start was a refusal to treat the basics as afterthoughts — doing the careful, unglamorous work that earns trust, and treating every client the way the founders wished they had been treated. 16 years and more than 450 regulars later, that conviction still runs Harbor Barbershop. The team has grown, the work across San Francisco has too, but the promise is unchanged.
